- Harvey Penick’s Little Red Book: This book has meant a lot to me over the years. It’s beat up, has some torn pages and is still captures my attention every time I pick it up to read some of the wisdom of Mr. Penick. This is a must have book.
- and if you play Golf, you’re my friend: Another book from Mr. Penick
- The game for a lifetime: and yet another fantastic book that was put out by Mr. Penick and Bud Shrake
- Five Lessons: Arguably one of the most well know golf instructional books ever written. I’m certain that if I would have never picked this book up and read it that my game would not be improving the way it is. Each time I read through the pages I tend to get more out of it then the time before. Incredible book, another must have!
- Practical Golf: This book was recommended by Hank Haney via Twitter and I can’t thank Mr. Haney enough. I thought I had a good understanding of how the golf swings works, but it wasn’t until after reading “Practical Golf” that I really started to get a feel and understanding of my golf swing. This is another one of my must have books!
- Mind Over Golf: This has quickly become my new favorite book to read. It has completely changed my view of the mental state of golf. This is an absolute must have book!
- Power Golf: Another book from Ben Hogan. This one goes into a lot more detail of the swing then Five Lessons does.
- My Golden Lessons: This was the fist Jack Nicklaus book that I’ve read and after finishing it I plan on reading more of his. Not really a reading book it’s more of a tip book. Highly recommend this one, it has some great illustrations and the tip Mr. Nicklaus goes over are fantastic!
- Fix your body, Fix your swing: I bought this book after hearing Rickie Fowler talk about his trainer Joey D. It’s a really good book if you are looking to inhance your physical side of your golf game.
